Gilt bronze size 3 ½ with 2.0mm band flared to the shoulders. The oval bezel with stylized representation of the Zoroastrian Fire Altar. See Ancient Rings, Pollio, p79 for a similar relate example and context where the author relates that Rome was involved in several wars with the Parthians resulting in cultural cross over. It is likely that this ring embraced the fire altar symbol as decorative.  Professionally refurbished for modern wear with the 24karat gold overlay restored.
